Miles are the currency of the ShebaMiles program. It enables you achieve higher Tier Levels, ensuring you enjoy all the benefits that have been designed to make your travels more convenient and comfortable, and reap greater Awards that come in the form of free travels.

We would also like to make sure you always get the special recognition you deserve, so please remember to use your ShebaMiles Membership Card, whenever you are dealing with Ethiopian Airlines or any of its partners.

How Tier Levels Works

Essentially there are three Tier levels with increasing privileges as you progress from the Blue to Silver and to Gold. The number of Status miles flown annually (January - December) determines your membership level. The more you fly, the easier it gets. When you have earned enough Status Miles to move up to Silver Tier membership, you earn Award Miles easily and enjoy more privileges.

IMPORTANT TIER STATUS

• You need to re-qualify for your Tier status annually.
• Your tier status is evaluated on December 31st, and effective January 1st your benefits and privileges are adjusted according to the status you have achieved. Following the validation process that is necessary after December 31st, your revised membership card will be delivered to you by the beginning of February.
• Should you qualify for a higher tier during the course of a year, your status will be upgraded immediately and you will get all the benefits of your new status for the remainder of the qualifying year and the next calendar year.

Tier benefits are not transferable and are exclusive to ShebaMiles members traveling on Ethiopian Airlines.
